lol don't think you're quite getting what I'm saying, because yes, I totally get that sometimes players don't enjoy playing for a great coach, and yea, I'd understand if Belichick was on that side of the list.

All those other guys on that list, I can see it, there are known things about all of them that would make us fans get why they're there.

I was literally asking WHY McVay was on that side of the list, as I'd never heard anything about him or his coaching style that would make players not want to play for him.  Not that I was just saying "hey, he's a great coach, why would anyone not want to play for him?"

Good hire for them. After Josh Patriot and Pierce (who I liked but he just wasn’t ready), they needed a legit actual head coach. Pete is a winner and will get their act together. Now they just need a qb. I’ve already seen Russel Wilson’s name floated out there to reunite with Pete.

It’s no way this ends well. I bet he makes the Raiders competitive but mediocre,and then once awful right before he gets fired.

I heard rumors--after hiring Pierce from within, I guess they decided to the opposite route. 

I love having Carroll in the NFL--I hated the Seahawks, but I loved his love for the game.
