CBS mock. Top 10 spots trade at top

I’m torn between thinking Jaxson dart goes a whole lot higher than people expect and the belief that there isn’t going to be a run on QBs early, perhaps none, but probably just one.

Not so sure there's a run, but if there's any QB that's rising, I agree -- I see Dart over Milroe and others.  Much better skillset and is an accurate passer with size and athleticism.  Top intermediate game, much higher capabilities as a pro-passer than Milroe.  It bugs me he's coming out of Ole Miss though, that system can be deceiving as we all know.

I'd be happy just to get a player in round 1 who makes us better on defense. I don't care what position he plays. A blue chip player that could start immediately at any level of the defense (d-line, LB, or secondary) would significantly improve the team. If Carolina plays their cards right, they should get 3 quality starters minimum for the defense between rounds 1 and 3.

I wouldn't be opposed to taking TMAC in round one, but only if we went defense for rest of the draft and the team is able to plug some of the holes via trades and FA.

Passing on Graham for another big body receiver would induce rage on a scale I can’t verbalize.

calling T-Mac "another big body receiver" is the clearest sign someone hasn't seen enough of his game to know what they're talking about.

how would you describe him?

I'd describe him as... A tall WR who moves better than a player his size should be able to, with an absurd catch radius and vice grips for hands.

But my point in the other post was when people use the word "another" before "big bodied" is just so clear that they're expecting him to be some big plodding WR in the mold of a KB or something like that, which couldn't be further from his game.

He was regularly used in the quick screen and slant game to get the ball into his hands and let him make defenders miss.  He was 5th in the Big 12 in YAC this season, not something you'd usually see in one of those "big bodied WRs" in the way people talk about them.

Anyone advocating for a receiver in this draft is the clearest sign they don’t know what they’re talking about.
