roster moves?

I've been watching the Bobs for 5 years, Felton for 4, DJ for two, and DJ is already more comfortable on the court than Felton.

That could be all that time he spent behind Brevin Knight though.

DJ didn't push Felton for time because that's Larry Brown's style.

Otherwise Hendo woulda got more looks. He's played DJ more than just about any 2nd year player he's ever had, and more than any rookie.

DJ make look more "comfortable" on the court than Felton does, but Felton puts up good enough numbers and was the starting PG for our playoff team. In their per 36min stats, Felton is the better facilitator and is regarded as the better defender, while Augustin looks like a better scoring option as a PG, but his "point guard" skills aren't as good as Felton's are.

To put it simply, we know what we can expect from Felton as a starter. He can be the starting PG on a playoff team. While he's not a star by any stretch of the imagination, he gets the job done. We don't know what Augustin would bring to the table, partially because of a lack of chances. I'm more apt to err on the side of caution and say I'd rather have Felton starting because we know what he can do.

If Augustin does become the starting PG and outproduces what Felton has done for us, I'll gladly admit I was wrong. As it stands though, I'd rather have Felton if we had to have one of the two of them starting. Hopefully we go out and get a clearly better option at PG and this whole discussion becomes a moot point.

DJ also hasn't been in the NBA but half as long as Felton, and he already looks like a better player on the court. My dollar is on DJ.

But I really want Felton to do well. He seems like a great kid, and is homegrown talent. I just don't have much faith left in him at this point, after watching him throw games in the toilet in the last two minutes for the past 4 years. Its something he's never gotten quite corrected, even though it wasn't as glaring as this year.

Well, I guess the picture will become more clear as the postseason progresses to the offseason. Its nice having a discussion with a Bobcats fan that knows what they're talking about (no offense to anyone on here). Just out of curiosity, what would you have us do this offseason?

I thought DJ defended Nelson better, and looked less lost than Felton the entire Orlando series. Just about every run we had in that series, DJ was on the floor and Felton was on the bench.

DJ has a better floor presence IMO

So what? Augustine sucks and is not an elite PG. Between him and Felton, 9 out of 10 teams will chose Felton every time.

If you don't want Felton, then you need another starting PG.

We need a new starter at PG regardless if its Felton or Augustin at PG.

You obviously know NOTHING about basketball.

Why the attack? I'm sure David Lee, just like every player, wants to make big money

That's nowhere even close to being fair. New Orleans' current back-up is better than Felton is, and Diaw isn't even an expiring contract for them. Think of all the reasons you'd like to get rid of Diaw, and that's the same list of reasons nobody would trade for him. We're going to have to move some serious money, and give them some talent to make the deal worth it, to get CP3. Its not impossible, but "Ray and Diaw" aren't going to get it done.
