Red fox concern

My property has a rock den that for years has hosted a family of groundhogs. I just discovered that this year the occupants are red foxes.

I love animals...and they (from a distance) are cute. My concern is for my pets. In the same area are 4 goats ( Al, Deb, Shirley, Bambi) and 2 sheep ( Kate and Allie). All are adults.

Anyone have any experience with these animals. Do I have anything to worry about?

I think you will be ok as long as one doesnt get rabid. Red Fox have been known to kill deer fawns, but I don't think they will mess with your adult animals.

Get some chickens and watch the fun.

That is aweful!!!! I know that small innocent animals such as chickens are in danger. I saw one of them carrying some small animal (maybe a rabbit) back to the den. I HATE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone should be vegetarians.

      I really haven't tried to just forego the games. I'll put it on if nothing else. Now I have found myself surfing the web, shopping on Amazon or emailing whomever---stuff like that, as opposed to concentrating on every play. Sometimes I'll miss something good and have to watch a replay. It's a bad soap opera if nothing else. There's some entertainment value in there if you change your mindset. It's just not good football.

      Anyone would probably love to trade for Ickey because he has put up above average play---actually good---on a fairly consistent basis this season. He is progressing better than many younger players at the position.  Don't "Chuba" Ickey.
