Hey Mr. Scot, noticed the guy there with the notepad but didn't know it was you. I was the big guy wearing the blue Panthers polo, will introduce myself if I see you out there today - always enjoy your write ups.

Was it Marcus Walker or "THE" Marcus Hudson that almost picked off Clausen? I remembered the guy wearing # 25 and when I looked at the roster sheet Danny Morrison handed out it said Marcus Hudson?

Been sort of unhappy with panther forums since the great official forum meltdown several years ago. Seems car.scout.com's forums have dwindled, but I love the enthusiasm on this site.

The Guy family is legendary in Track and Field. And they're all named Trent. No, seriously.

Trent Guy Sr. was an All-American at JCSU back in the day, started a track club called Racer X that was one of the best in the nation, and used to coach at West Charlotte. He passed away in the Summer of 2008. His son, Trent Guy Jr. ran for both WC and Racer X, was a national champion, and now is a sprinter at Clemson.

Trent Jr.'s cousin is the Trent Guy we have. And just like the rest of his family, he's a speedy one. I think he got shot while he was at Louisville though. Don't know for sure, but I believe I remember hearing that. Maybe sometime early 2009.

yeah he did, something were he was with his girl. and some some pussies felt threating so they shot at him and his girl.glad for him to get a chance,small guy but fast as poo....and yes its like 3 or more trent guys in the family.lol.

As to Edwards, his dreads are so long that you can only make out “Ed” on the back of his jersey. Running routes, he’s fast, and seems to have taken up Steve Smith’s habit of always going full speed no matter what. Saw a few passes thrown his way, and watched him catching punts from Baker. For the record, I didn’t see a football that came his direction hit the ground. If he dropped anything, I missed it.

comparisons with Smitty to his toughness as well.. and Sam Mills...

could be a special player.. however unlikely that may be...
