Lenny Bruce was almost as important, but I never thought he was all that funny. Bill Cosby may have been as important as Pryor, if you think about it.

Yeah I can agree with that. I like Pryor bit more than Carlin but that would be the best 3 in my book.

Dave Chappelle is the best in this generation of comedy. Before Pryor died, he said Chappelle was the best he has seen in a long time.
