it isn't suitable for every map but you can work people w/ the shotty.

Spas can be flat out beastly. Marathon, slight of hand, and I use flak jacket as buildings are your main battle ground and campers like to set up claymores.

Spas, for me, works better silenced. Scav, slight of hand, marathon works really well on Nuke/Summit.

I've been playing this game more and more lately. I still hate most of the maps though.

Ive come to the conclusion that I suck with silenced weapons. All I get are assists! I usually have about a 2.0 ratio using a red dot instead.

Its amazing how good some people are at this game. I was in a lobby with some guy who would consistantly end in the 35/5 range. After seeing his after match KD, first thought was you f'ing camper. Well next game I paid attention, and that dude killed me a half dozen times, every one of them a quality kill. Some people are just that good I guess... frustrating as fug though

Most likely you abused a glitch like the golden guns glitch and got your stuff reset.

I can't build a custom emblem anymore, never had anything suggestive or offensive.

It also matters what kind of connection you have. My connection isn't very good (high ping), and some games I'll be a 1/2 second behind most people. Every now and then I'll get a good ping and I usually can go 3:1 K/D ratio, minimum. Another thing that matters is how good the other people on your team are. I've had good connections before where I'll struggle to get a 1:1 K/D because my team just isn't very good. Then I've had others where I don't have a great connection, but have a good team and go 2:1. (I play Domination mainly btw).

I will say that Black Ops connection/servers/whatever is GARBAGE in comparison to the connectivity I enjoyed with Modern Warfare2

Yes Treyarch has a hard time handling connectivity issues with people. Host always has an advantage, but on Black Ops it's light years ahead of what it was on let's say, Modern Warfare 2 (which honestly, handled it quite fine).

This game fails on connectivity, graphics, map diversity, weapon balancing (although all CoDs seem to have this issue).

If you took this game, used MW2's connectivity parts, their maps, and their hit detection, it would be really amazing.
