It seems like I play Nuketown 9 times out of 10 whenever I hop online. At first the fast action and everything was pretty fun but now it's starting to get a little ridiculous.

So far...i wish i wouldnt have. I played a bit of Campaign and MP last night. Not much mind you. Playing campaign, i knew right away i didnt get that blown away feeling i got the first time i put in MW2. Not sure what it is. Cant put my finger on it, but i had no problem turning it off to watch the end of the Bobcats game(that should tell you something , lol). When I got MW2, i played for hours the 1st time i popped it in. I was so immersed. I dont get that feeling with this one. Again, not sure if its the story line or what. The graphics are definitely incredible.

In multiplayer, im just not enjoying it. I got totally owned. That stupid RC car killed me at least 5 times..its like i i was a huge magnet. Seemed like enemy was spawning on top of me. Constantly dying. Yeah, so i suck, but it still wasnt fun at all for me. I was playing pretty buzzed from drinking vodka, so im sure that had something to do with it. I will definitely give it another try sober. Reading certain reviews, i was given the impression that it wasnt quite a fast paced as MW2. To me it seemed twice as fast. At this point i like MW2 MP much much more! And i got sick of MW2 after a while, and i didnt suck at that.

I think im just spoiled by the gameplay of BFBC2, which is more my style.

Ill give this another try, but im not expecting much of a difference of opinion.

I agree with you. For the most part. I disagree about the graphics though. I think they have taken a giant step backwards. MW2 graphics are much more polished. Nuketown is a joke graphic wise, but should be one of the best considering the size of the map. It feels very cartoonish.

Never have I had the drop on an enemy for 5 seconds and they turn around and kill me.. It's absurd.

The maps are huge and everything flows into everything. Makes for sitting back for a second nearly impossible.

Khe Sahn in campaign mode is nearly impossible (until after I read some of these posts.. which I will try shortly). MW2 campaign was much better and made you feel like you were in the middle of a better movie remake of Red Dawn. Medal of Honor is even better in my opinion, and the graphics in that game are stunning. Not to mention, they do a good job of honoring the soldiers that are actually over in Afghanistan fighting, with the ending and all..

To be honest, a blend of Medal of Honor and MW2 would be phenomenal in my opinion, in terms of multiplayer.

Black Ops has been very frustrating, to say the least. The lag/bullet damage is terrible.

I feel like they've got so much going on with this game (unlocks/dead ops/zombies) that they didn't focus enough on what they should have (the regular multiplayer experience).

Glad I used a gift card to buy this and got it, for more or less, 1/2 off.

I will look forward to Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

I'm considering not prestiging. I'm like 3 lvls from being able too, but I love the G11 and Commando. I don't see myself using more than a few guns anyway so I don't really need the extra create-a-class slots.

If you absolutely LOVE FPS games then yes. If you only enjoy them occasionally, wait for it to go on sale.

It's worth the money, it's fun. The later guns make it better.

Maps are great, Nuke town is purposely cartoonish.

I wish they would add some classic maps to this they overall aren't as good. But not bad. maybe i will get used to them.

I guess i got decent at MW2 so i miss it. I almost want to go back.

Commando is so great, I'm probably skipping prestige. Gold camo would be neat but I know my KD would drop instantly with the starting out guns.

I think they put out a silent patch for weapon damage though, not exactly sure, but it seems like people are dieing better now. Could be that I have the good weapons at this point, not sure.

Some maps are just flaky though, and that's odd. Summit is one, there seems to be framerate/lag on that.

Been playing on my roommates 360 quite a bit lately. As others have said, lag and bullet damage seems to be very inconsistent. Nothing is more frustrating than having the drop on someone, seeing/hearing them be shot 3 times, only to be outgunned by some assault rifle unlocked at a late level.

Another thing that has pissed me off, anyone else notice how the "Hold X to pick up ___" is always right over your sights? I had a couple of very nice spots held down only for some gun on the ground next to me to put text right over my sights. I just wish there was a way to hold another button to be like "No, I'm content with my own weapon moron."

the multiplayer doesn't really seem much different than MW2 to me.....i do like how you buy the things you want

I played quite a bit over the weekend and I still like it. I would recommend it to anyone. I did start the campaign yesterday morning and I'm not crazy about it. The AI of your team mates is terrible. They help you about as well as a dizzy retard would. But Treyarch obviously spent most of their time developing the online play and rightfully so.

Played some this weekend...I believe I'm a mid-30s rank as of now.

I made it a mission to get pro levels of certains perks (Sleight of Hand and Hardline). I've gotten the Sleight of Hand, but haven't really noticed the quicker aiming from it. I switched to the RC car/Care package for quickly getting the 7 killstreaks in a single map. You will hardly have time to do this in a large map. I achieved this in Nuke Town, but just barely. Hard to do....either tough to find dudes to kill. You'll need to try to do this in Grid or Nuke Town.

Picked up someone's Commando gun and it was pretty sweet. I'm using the AUG now and liking it. The FAMAS isn't bad either.

What's completely frustrating are domination maps were guys are completely oblivious to the goals of the game.

I hate that so much! I love playing ground war, when the domination maps come maybe 3 or 4 people will cap points.
