i always beat the campaigns on games at least once. never really understood those who don't, and just getting a game for the online play. i liked the challenges in MW2 too, but some of them are fuggin hard

I never start multiplayer until I beat the campaign. Even BFBC2, which took like 45 mins on hard, I think.

That's how I usually go about FPS games. The campaign is a way for me to get used to the controls anyways.

I definitely play the campaign first. I have a feeling even more people will be skipping the campaign and going straight to multiplayer. There is a multiplayer game mod that allows you to play against the AI on multiplayer maps to get used to controls and maps before going online.

Just start a private match with a bunch of buddies...

then scour the maps. Sometimes the best spots aren't that great due to how you may stand out against the background, lack of movement, etc.

It looks like MW2 cause he's the same game engine. Which is fine, MW2 was great in that regard.

Good thing about black ops is that the gameplay seems better. No commando, measures to curb quick scoping, killstreaks not leading to other killstreaks. I also seen an hour video of multiplayer and some maps, and looks like close quarters weapons won't be useless again.

Honestly, all MW2 needed was what black ops is doing and hopefully keeping people from cheating the prestige system. Also, some after release tweaks which I think Treyarch will be good on.
