So I have looked all over for a thread on this guy but couldn't find one...

Anyways, I wanted to get your thoughts on this guy. Another big receiver but with some speed. I could see him competing with Edwards for that 3rd receiver spot.

Also, anyone else notice that he sports a mohawk?

I saw the hair...ha.

From the tape I have seen, honestly I was not that impressed.

He did not look all that fast, and the teams he was scoring on...meh.

He does look like a good route runner though.

i can't see him making the team. practice squad and hope no one else grabs him is best i can imagine for this season. smitty, lafell, and edwards are pretty much guaranteed to have WR spots above him. DJ definitely if he doesn't get released. Kenny Moore is also definitely ahead of him right now. Wallace Wright and Dexter Jackson are also in the mix. Charly Martin doesn't have much chance in my opinion. There are at least five guys that I put ahead of him right now. Unless he completely blows up in camp, I think practice squad is the best case scenario.

kenny moore is ahead of him? how do you figure that? he hasn't done anything since he's been on the team. fox and co. always try their hardest to keep their draft picks around for a few years. they don't cut them unless there's some major problem. no way moore makes the team over gettis. i think dwayne jarrett is on a bubble to be honest. he needs a big camp and preseason to get a roster spot.

Gotta disagree with all of that. Just MHO though.....

1.)Smith

2.) LaFell

3.)Edwards

4.)Jarrett

5.) Gettis

At the end of the day Kenny Moore is a UDFA who has barely produced and hasn't really stepped up. He got time over Jarrett but that's not saying much. I think he gets started over Gettis in minicamp. He'll be off the opening day roster by the regular season most likely. If he plays well then I'm find with him making the team, but I think Gettis is a better prospect.

kenny moore won't be on the 53 man roster most likely. gettis is most definitely going to be ahead of him on the depth chart. more than likely he will be ahead of jarrett (if he even stays on the team).

btw...wallace wright will probably be on the roster but mainly for STs which is fine with me. rather have him be given a roster spot than someone who is at best only a 5th receiving option.

jarrett has one game to warrant any further consideration. moore has done nothing.

    • When I was in my early 20s, this kid wound have been put on a pedestal.  Not only did he get the information from an Atlanta coach, he framed the Saints.  He is on a different level.  Don't get me wrong--it was stupid-- and if I was his dad I would be pissed--but the nerve--the balls---the unbridled disregard for the consequences of the establishment--few people have ever reached this level.  But there are others who were more brilliant, but for these examples, we have to go to the Ivey League and MIT.  Let's start with MIT: During the 1982 season, seven members of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) managed to bury a weather balloon under the field in Harvard's stadium over a three-week period. The meticulous planning and technologically advanced prank led to those MIT students (safely) disrupting the Harvard/Yale game during the second quarter. The balloon, with "MIT" written all over it, inflated to eight feet before popping. The student newspaper at MIT covered the event with a simple, fitting headline. "Saturday's score: MIT 1, Harvard/Yale 0." -------------------- Yes, another Harvard/Yale game. This time, though, MIT wasn't involved. No, this clever trick in 2004 was the brainchild of two Yale students with the assistance of about 20 others. Disguised as "Harvard Pep Squad" members, the Yale students distribute red and white placards to the Crimson crowd. They assured the fans that "Go Harvard" would be spelled out on the cards. In reality? "WE SUCK" appeared on the Harvard side. --------------------------
    • Also remember that essentially Derrick Brown is an offseason addition to the defense too, that’s not insignificant when we’re talking about improving the defense from last year.
