Cover-1 this season

I think we'll play a lot of Cover-1 this season because it worked extremely well last season. I'm expecting Godfrey to move up to blitz late in the count, with Martin moving to the middle of the field to cover anything deep. Add that to our smaller, quicker line, and we're going to get a lot of sacks and turnovers. Last season Harris was blitzing, with Godfrey staying back in coverage.

Well yeah I said it worked extremely well last season. I think Meeks was playing it safe early last season because the players were still learning, but this season we can play a lot of cover-1 right out of the gate. Plus we won't have Jake killing us, so I'm excited.

We need interceptions from our safeties. I suspect that Harris may have blown a few opportunities to make a few picks over the course of the season. In addition, Harris was on the downside of his career.

we will show many different covers to try to confuse or force to's(nothing new)but cover 1 leaves you open for big plays down the field

I think it was more about injuries and age. His coverage skills also were not top notch.
