It’s that time of year…..drop your best mock draft if you like….Wish lists…trades….discuss…

Just ran a simulation, loved it, although I doubt it will fall this way.

#8. mason graham. #57. Deone walker.  #73 Josh Connelly.  #108. cobee Bryant.  #122. Dj Giddens.  #140 Malachi Moore.  #148 Latham ransom.  #164. Danny stutsman.  #228 nick nash.

keep pounding! Next year playoffs!

I wish the Panthers would use a 6th round draft pick on the best field goal kicker available. I have watched the L.A. Rams all year with a rookie kicker. Joshua Karty from Western Alamance High School in Burlington, N.C.-Stanford University has been steady for them all year. He was a 6th round pick.

That's a damn good point. Kickers are so very important and to be able to get the best in college late in the draft seems like a solid decision and risk to take to me.

We only have a 7th in the last two rounds and a 5th is probably a little high unless we are talking about getting the next Justin Tucker.

TBH, a lot of those teams making those kicker picks aren't struggling with massive roster issues like we are.

Went for leverage at OT in this draft:

With contract discussions needed for both Icky and Moton this year, it would help tremendously to add rookie Jones to the mix. If either of the two on our current roster have unreasonable demands, we’ve secured our OL. We need to be grooming Moton’s replacement anyway.

Also hope that we just drafted one or two immediate starters at the safety positions.

    • Nailed it! Chiefs got #10 overall (and selected Mahomes) and sent the Bills #27, #91, and a 2018 first-rounder (ended up being #18) to pick the QB that has kept them out of the Super Bowl. 💀 Tbf to the Bills tho, they turned those picks into Tre'Davious White, Dion Dawkins, Tremaine Edmunds, and Siran Neal. Three out of four hits ain't bad at all, but that one for one for KC... ooh wee mayne.
    • Yep. Happens to a lot of talented kids. I just think a lot of people don't understand that just because this kid is super talented doesn't mean he's going to make it to the pros. Most of them won't. Some will get injured. Some will run into trouble off the court/field. Some won't put in the work. The catering greatly increases the odds of the latter two. Then most will simply just not be good enough to make it to the pros. Either way, it all adds up to a long shot and the kids need to have solid plan Bs. A few years back my HS had the #1 RB recruit on the nation. He originally committed to UGA but flipped to Bama and was getting decent playing time as a true freshman before obliterating his ankle. He was never the same again after that. Never made it to the pros. Not sure what happened to him but evidently he wasn't the brightest bulb and was basically just getting passed through school to stay academically eligible. I don't think he was a bad kid, never really heard anything like that. He just wasn't all that bright and all the eggs were in the football basket.
