Boy these guys are boring. They have turned into the islanders of 2022. Can’t score. No true threat. Necas is sloppy. Orlov is worse. How this game is tied is beyond me.   We just don’t have the players or the system is bad. Either one.

I don’t know. Somehow get a goal in the third and hold on??  This team is unwatchable.

Which game are you watching?

There live. 1st period was terrible minus Koochie.  2nd period was better, they just couldn’t score. 3rd was pretty darn good minus the last minutes. Canes seem to forget the situation a few times. I did hear post game on the ride home with the wife that rod didn’t like us getting push around so much so he made a line change for big on big and it showed.

I’ll take it haha. That 3rd period was good.  Not sure what the heck that last 1 min was. Burns and Martnook were screaming at eachother.

Burns made the no look pass off the face off, off the boards and nobody was there. The entire side of the ice was exposed and 2 Knights were there for the puck.

Yeah, that one scared me a bit. Logically should just shot to the other end.

We need to have a legit convo about Burns. That guy for another night in a row looked washed and really made some bad decisions.  It’s not that he is bad, he is just long in the tooth and plays too many minutes at his age.

It was a set play on the face off and I'll have to watch the replay, but I think Martinook either went the wrong way or got caught up in the wash.

Speaking of, #48 was a stud last night. The only thing he didn't do was score.

Martnook has been a true rockstar each night. Guy goes 100% every game. The young guys should take notice.

    • I’m beginning to think it’s more likely Mason Graham is there at 8 than Jalon Walker is We really need both QB’s to go top 7 (I’m not sure they do) I hope McMillan goes top 7 (again not so sure he does) If Ward, Carter, Hunter, Johnson, Graham, Walker and say Pearce go top 7. Then where do we go? Starks, McMillan, Warren or Burden?
    • Good side discussion on WR 40 times. I think that although it's a factor in the overall decision, it would be just one of many, and should never be the decision itself. Excluding a WR from consideration simply based on this one portion of their overall game just seems stupid to me.   Like I'd said, good discussion that made me curious about some of the all-time greats. Take this as just food for thought: Tim Brown - 4.39 Art Monk - 4.5 Randy Moss - 4.25 James Lofton - 4.67 Andre Reed - 4.4 Michael Irvin - 4.52 Terrell Owens - 4.38 Steve Largent - 4.7 Calvin Johnson - 4.35 Lynn Swann - 4.5 Marvin Harrison - 4.3 Cris Carter - 4.58 (GOAT) Jerry Rice - 4.71 (although this is most likely incorrect and would be 4.55-4.59 it seems)   My point being, some of the best WRs in the history of the NFL had extremely fast times, slow times, and mostly in between. To me, Jerry Rice will always be the most amazing receiver and he was never blazing fast in the 40.   For today's perspective- in our division, the guys who literally shredded us this year: Mike Evans - 4.54 Drake London - 4.53 Not really applicable for the Saints, as they lean more on their RBs and WRs are by committee it seems. Their highest with 548 yards for the year was Juwan Johnson - 4.58
    • Good strategy. I try to have positions buckets. Like two or three positions in a particular round. Trying to combo need and bpa.
