Pacman Jones to Carolina, anyone?

Good to see my topic creating so much discussion. After all, this is the point of a forum, right? For all the people saying I'm an idiot and don't know the Panthers or football, whatever. I've probably attended more games this season (was at the season opener in San Diego, NO, Chicago, Atl, Kansas City and Detroit games) than 50% of the posters in here. This season, Ken Lucas has struggled, Marshall has been lost in space,the whole secondary has been iffy because of the cornerback play. Letting no-name receivers from the Falconvicks ( I was at that game in Atlanta on the 8th row up from the field BTW) and the Green Gay Packers lynch them. If I could get a Pacman Jones that can cover like he did before his first league suspension, and pay him peanuts to do it, thats a gamble that I'd consider to spruce up my nickel package. BUT WITH THAT SAID, i realize that PACMAN IS A LOSER AND AN IDIOT, and it is more than likely a pipe dream that he would not be an asshole long enough to be any good to any team because of his brain disorders.

ummmm how bout no, we'll fix these problems in the fa and the draft in the offseason. JR would never sign someone that has problems staying in uniform. The kid is suspended more then he plays.

I apologize for thinking you haven't been a fan for long. It seems you probably see more away games in person than 95% of Panther fans. But, that still doesn't hide the fact that by asking this question you don't know the org. very well. As long as Mr. Richardson is in control of this team, as far as FA's and draft picks are concerned..........character matters. End of discussion.

Before you crucify me, hear out the possibilities....of course this all depends on him not being sentenced to a long prison term...but he'd be dirt cheap, and Charlotte is a long way away from the circus of all that is Cowboys...and he may be motivated to prove himself a third time around...maybe recapture the glory years of his college and Titans days, when he was a top talent in the league. hey if he doesn't work out, cut him with the quickness and youve only lost a $500,000 salary...but if he does do well, he'd be a good upgrade to a questionable secondary unit...
