Sorry. I have been all over Godfrey from day one. I watch him every game. An exaggreation would be to claim he is better in coverage than Harris.

Maybe if you would stop staring at Godfrey, you could really see how many times Harris got burned. And I am not just talkin about deep bombs. I am speaking of the 15-20 deep digs and slants that give up many, many first downs.

What I'm getting from most of the fans posting the last few days is, martin can't be a leader. None of our younng guys are leaders...but let's hope they step up.

That is stupid. Beason is a leader, and has been leading since halfway through his rookie season. we have other young guys on the team that can and lead. they haven't needed to step up pror...but now they will.

Yes, the team is changing. Getting younger, and new lplayers will step up to lead along side of beason, williams, and smith.

One more think..this team needed some change...think most will agree. Cept now, the majority is freakin' out due to the changes.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to PantherClaw again.

I want to hear come-backs against the statement because that is very true. Ever since Beason got here, the whole huddle has been having a huge man crush on him. What makes Beason different than Brown, Godfrey, and Martin? Who are you people to say that those youngsters can't lead? Tell me really...How would you know? Have some of you been calling Ms. Cleo from prison?

People are afraid of change. Not to go in politics but I voted for change. Some of you don't realize that change is not bad all the time.

Also, Godfrey wasn't as bad as people say he was, and Harris isn't as great as people say he was.

Never claimed Harris was good. In fact, I have stated that Harris is poor in coverage. That still doesn't make Godfrey better.

It isn't a coincidence that Harris grew into a leadership role after putting the work in on the field (a fanastic season). Granted, he his play slipped some as his seasons piled up....but you gotta put the games and work in at a high level to lead in this game.

well, they gave Godfrey the job year 2 with little competition. Was there the worst S in the league following that first year? Year 2 he picked up right where he left off......got hurt.....got the job right back. Do you disagree w/ that? Give me an example of why that is false.

Homer glasses have looked at those FF and turned Godfrey into something he isn't.

How can they be leaders if not given the opportunity? Beason was given the opportunity and took his bat and ball and ran with it and look at him now. The leader of this defense. You still didn't answer my others questions in my post but that is all well and good.

How can you say someone is not a leader and you haven't even given the said player(s) the opportunity to be one? That confuses the hell out of me.

Well, just give them a fair chance. Maybe they will have that (fantastic season). Btw, Godfrey and Martin are way more talented than Rolle.

There is a difference between Harris and Godfrey. Harris led the NFL in FF and did it from the S position that season. Harris was also a big time hitter. That was fantastic.....

Godfrey had 4 and has been known as a very poor tackler. Those two seasons aren't comparable.

I do watch Godfrey very intensely....doesn't mean you ignore everything else on the field.
