That seems really high, especially for a team that was known for clinging to old vets past their prime. IS it really that high?

I never knew the NFL had such high turnover. What other startling revelations can you provide us with? Perhaps the normal retirement age is quite low?

Sounds about right. We have 8 guys on our roster who were in the league in 2005.

Even Detroit has more guys with experience than we do with 18 that were in the league in 2005. If they are in rebuilding mode and have more experience than we do, then what mode are we in?

Rebuilding...but with some good young players to start with.

Beason, D Will, Stew, Clausen, Otah, Gamble, Kalil.

And some aging but very capable players.

Smith, Gross, Wharton, Davis.

But make no bones about it, we are rebuilding, and preparing for the next head coach of the Panthers to be able to hit the ground running.

Do you wish that we still had Morgan on the team instead of Beason or Mitchell on the team instead of Kalil? Because in general turnover is a great thing when better players are coming in. Is there a risk involved with younger players coming in to replace vet? Of course but that doesn't mean you don't do it.
