this is by far the dumbest move ever!!! harris was a leader and a good ass player for us...i cant believe hes on the bears again and we get jamar nobody knows me williams...what the fug.. richardson is a cheapass old pile of poo and he is like al davis now..hes not thinking with his head on his shoulders. this is worse than giving julius away for free. this season is now up in the air.. and im being optimistic but panthers will be 6-10 this season. i can already see the defense stuggling early on jus like last year when harris was out with an injury. this is gonna hurt us in the long run

our team couldn't stop the run last year....could easily be much much worse this year.....and what is Godfrey going to do besides get abused?

Updating a previous item, the Panthers and Bears are still putting the finishing touches on a Chris Harris trade.

Harris is expected to rework his contract with the Bears, and the Panthers will reportedly receive linebacker Jamar Williams as part of the return. Williams would be an upgrade on Dan Connor and James Anderson on the strong side.

Bears fan here.....I know many of you are asking who the hell is Jamar Williams. I just wanted to say that I think you guys got one hell of a player. He is a great athlete and if not for being stuck behind Briggs, would have been a stud LB in my opinion. When he filled in for Briggs all he did was put up a 20 tackle game and was all over the field(his other fill in jobs he produced as well). I think this guy is going to surprise you guys. He will be missed, many of us Bears fans were pissed that the inept Bears coaching staff couldn't get him on the field....he always showed flashes. If you ever wonder why the Bears let Briggs hit the free agent market a couple years back, it was because Williams. Good luck with your season by the way
