Godfrey can't cover nor make open field tackles. He has proven that over his short career. He had some FFs that were big - but showed little legit improvement. Panther fans w/ homer goggles on need to wake up. 3 plays and people act like it erases two years of him overall being horrific.

They are going to make sure Fox can't win w/ this defense.

Harris was supposed to be our Fumble-Forcing Machine, but Godfrey caused more fumbles than anyone (except Pep) last year. His tackling also improved a lot after the injury as well. He has always been better than Harris in coverage, too...

Feel sorry for CH. I know he's headed home, but the Bears have had an air of desperation about them for a couple of years now. That being said, they are getting a quality starter who is familiar with their system, plus he still has some tread left on his tires.

Hopefully, we didn't let him go cheap. We need a quality replacement -- do they have a starter on their D-line that has been on the hot seat recently?

dude, are you seriously saying you won't settle for anything less than 3 backups at linebacker who are starting quality? no team is stacked like that. we have plenty of other linebackers on the team. i'm sure one can be the 3rd backup. what the hell are the chances all 3 starting linebackers would go down at one time? we have plenty of depth, more than most teams.
