they'll build the team with cheaper veteran pieces like they've done to great success for the past four years.

yep, we still haven't recovered from that loss.

I had a bad feeling about it as soon as I heard it to. I liked HArris was about to order his Jersey tommorow actually glad I saved my money. But If he had of kept his damn mouth closed he probably would have made it through all the casualties.

Imma wait to see what is said, but got damn man...Now I understand why we grabbed all those secondary players in the late round....

Godfrey better turn into peakin' Bob Sanders this season!

Well...my authentic Harris jersey is now pointless to wear. No more for me! I've already retired my Morgan and Lucas jerseys. Luckily my Smitty and J-Stew seem safe...for now.

they will probably trade Stewart for a backup QB next.

I think it's not so much that we traded Harris, I think it's the overall purge and the feeling that we didn't get equal value back for him. Plus, it's the Bears.

I think we signed a contract to become their farm team affiliate... They send him down to us, we develop him, they bring him back up, send down scrub J. Williams.

Moose, Pep, Manning Jr., Wesley, Harris, etc.

the bears have poo the bed every single time they've dealt with the Panthers.

Carolina's secondary is very forgiving to DBs. It takes someone really shitty, like Marquan Manuel, to not look at least okay.

I never said it told me that.. I said it was our biggest need...

Not only did we draft one in the 4th round (most here said we wouldn't until the 6th or not at all), but now we have gotten another that will also make the team...

You also fail to realize that WR and QB were the next two needs according to my formula, and when the #6 overall player on your board, who happens to fill one of those needs, falls all the way to #48, damn right you take him over another need... Then we got 2 WRs with the next picks... then a LB...

damn... looks like my formula worked to perfection... no?

Yeah...I just dont think LB was our biggest need

even if Clausen was not there I still think we would have went in another direction...but we will never know now

We did, unfortunately. I thought I saw this guy was originally a 4th round pick, which is higher than Harris' trade here (5th), not to mention Harris went undrafted.

If Clausen wasn't there, we would have likely taken Golden Tate... Another one of my top 3 positions of need...

You can't dictate how value at positions of need will fall into your laps, but you can dictate how you react when they do...
