As the Charlotte Bobcats desperately try to avoid being swept by the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference playoffs, management has abandoned most expectations that Larry Brown will return as coach next season and quietly has begun sorting through candidates to replace him, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Charlotte considers the chances of Brown staying as “minimal at this point,” one league source said. “They’re proceeding like they’ll be looking for a new coach.”

Larry Brown has meant so much to turning this franchise around, it'll be sad to see him go. How many of you believe that he will be on the move once again? And, who should we target?

I think he is gone for sure. I kinda want him gone, he got us here, but it's time for us to take it over now.

I would like to see Avery Johnson come here, or if fired (which he will be) why not Del *****?

I really don't know any Coach I want.... It seems like the NBA Franchises just recycle the same coaches around....I never know if it was the coach, players... team whatever. You can go from coach of the year, to fired the next.... Besides a selected few I don't even know who or even what a good coach is.

And why the hell not Del *****? He has taken the Bulls to the playoffs both years and they have put a fight in both series. He is a good young coach, with a bright future.
