I think Edwards will too.

I think Edwards will throw more TD passes than Clausen will this year.

I don't think we see a whole lot of Edwards as a receiver this year. He needs time to learn the position.

I could see us using him for Wildcat or trick plays and hopefully kick returns, but I don't think we'll line him up at receiver that much.

I hope I'm wrong, and that he learns quickly.

Clausen: I can see around 2700yards, 18 TDs, 13 INTs,

Lafell: I would predict around 600yards 4 TDs

Edwards: I can see 10 rushing attempts, 5 passing attempts, maybe a return or two for a big chunk of field position, maybe a few receptions. He's going to have meager production this year. He might see some action in the playoffs.

Norwood: A few sacks, pressures, and TFLs.

Greg Hardy: same as Norwood.

David Gettis: A TD or two if he's lucky.He's going to have a hard time making the team unless we're getting rid of Wright or Jarrett.

If the rest of the guys produce at a significant level then it probably means that we suck.

First of all, you think we'll carry all three active? Secon of all, that's 1825 receiving yards between those three guys. I'm assuming you think smitty still has a 1,000 yard season in him. So that's 2825 passing yards. The backfield combined fo 491 receiving. TEs combined for 755 receiving. So if you keep the backfield and TE receiving stats constant, were over 4,000 passing yards next year. You really think that'll happen? Four wide receivers with 450 yards or more? Who are we new orleans now?

I don't think edwards will catch more than 10 balls all season. I can see LaFell putting up those numbers, especially if Jarrett is gone. I have my doubts about Gettis...don't think he'll make the 53 man roster.

At Greenwood High, under coach Shell Dula, he was named to the Greenwood Touchdown Club/Index-Journal All-Lakelands Team. Edwards originally played wide receiver, but in his senior year moved under center. The transition occurred late in the recruiting process, and he drew some interest from Georgia, New Mexico State, Clemson, and a few other Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (previously known as I-A) programs. However, he decided to honor his commitment to Appalachian State, in part because they would let him stay a quarterback. Armanti Edwards graduated with a 3.3 GPA.[10]

it normally takes a few years before WRs can get on an NFL field and be productive......I think that is a very bold prediction for a run heavy offense.

All I will say is that the O is stacked and the D is very talented.

I say Hardy will be the most productive rookie on D, LaFell on O (if Clausen dosen't start), and Edwards on special teams.

Jimmy Clausen will be day one starter.

Brandon Lefell will get plenty of playing time as the third receiver. Yes, i said third.

Which brings me to another prediction despite popular opinion Dwayne Jarrett will produce.

Tony Pike will be third string till his gimpy shoulder is re-injured in pre-season. In week 4 at Pittsburgh. Pike will be sacked by Keenan Lewis a Cornerback resulting in him hurting his wittle arm.

Amarti Edwards will be a jack of all trades. Once Pike is put on IR he will assume 3rd string QB duties. Prior to that he will have spent most his time trying to become a WR.

David Gettis will make the squad and produce as the 4th WR and on special teams.

Norwood and Hardy will develop playing minutes much like E.Brown did last year. Neither will accumulate many sacks though.

I am very happy with this draft and this is the most excited I have been in a long time.

Regardless of attitude , why he dropped so low etc...Clausen was a very smart pick.

Will he be a ND bust...time will tell.

Clausen is a great scrambler, very accurate off the bootleg and extremely competitive.

Did he beat anyone significant , not really but ND sucks.

28tds and 4 picks and played in nfl offense...thats a winner in my eyes.

My major issue with the Panthers has always been the qb and just like any position having quality depth is great.

I do hope Matt Moore will start not because he deserves to, but because he has earned it.

If the Panthers decide not to start him, I will trust the coaching staff is will be starting the qb that gives us the best chance win

My main issue I had with our draft was not moving up to get Tate.

Tate was #1 to my liking and I thought he was going to be our first pick. After picking Clausen I really thought we were going to move up and pick him. Tate and Clausen come from the same offense and already have chemistry...that was a no brainier to me. We could have given our 2nd rd pick and maybe two late rd picks for the move. Edwards was a REAL reach, I am glad he is on our team, but I have no idea why we gave up so much for him!!

Edwards is a project, not an already established wr. I do think he will be a great slot and really help us on special teams.

Lafell is a beast and I love this pick. He has it all- size, speed, down field blocking and hes awesome after the catch.

If Hardy stays healthy..he will be huge for us-enough said!

Norwood-,Pike were both great picks.

Gettis- I dont know about him. Looks like a great route runner, but nothing electric about him.

All the defensive backs...who knows.
