I was hopeful that Kochetkov could level up his game with this many starts, if anything he has sort of proved that he just isn't a long term solution. Career lows across the board statistically. Not terrible but just league average at best.

I like Coochie, but he’s just not consistent enough for us to count on him to win. He’s up he’s down he’s up he’s down and we really need Freddy back because apparently we’re not trading for a goalie.

He is at his best when he is pushed by a better player. When healthy, Freddie is much better. Koochie has regressed. He now is what he is unfortunately.  Cross our fingers Freddie stays healthy.

We went and It was fun for sure.  But there is something to that game that could be taken to the main team "minus the 200 foot softy that Rice scored" hahaha.  The canes went to the net AND had net front.  Something I don't see us doing hardly any.  Its all permitter.   Btw, Rod looked like he could still play a shift or two if needed.
