We Had The Best Draft?

I've seen sites give us A+ ratings and all which scares me a little bit. Usually the pundits say we did ok and it turns out that we killed it. I think Seattle and Oakland probably had the best drafts, followed by TB, Detroit and Carolina.

On a side note, I 100% no bullshit believe that the Raiders organization didn't tell Al Davis that the draft started on Thursday this year. I believe he woke up and drove into the war room Saturday, and immediately afterwards they drafted Campbell and Ford at Al's request. This is no coincidence. Watch out for the Raiders to return to being a contender as soon as the old man dies.

I don't think that really matters to be honest. Getting a top 10 rated quarterback at #48 overall is a steal. Low risk(hello 2nd round contract,) EXTREMELY high reward.

I don't think anyone's draft is as good as the Seahawks. I also think the 49ers and Oakland had a better draft than us.

Clausen was the top qb in the draft but his character issues is why he fell to us. If you ignore the Character issue then Clausen is hands down the #1 qb. We also had Hardy, Two Wrs, a solid OLB and Armanti Edwards. I think the Cbs we picked up are questionable but yeah you could say we had a great draft.

Greg Hardy will be your best pick. He was a steal. Just gotta keep him motivated.

Man you hit it on the head there... I feel sorry for Raiders fans. Al Davis is a big part of what the NFL is today, and he had his day in the sun, but man... he's turned a respectable franchise into a league-wide joke..

But on to your topic... yeah, everyone is all over the Panther's nuts because we managed to ****** up Clausen in the 2nd round. Yeah... it was a great pick from a value stand point... and we got some other good ones too.

But did we draft for the needs of the team or for the best players we could... and did we sell ourselves short trading away future picks?

Well, the answer to me is a mix of good and bad. Ergo, B-, or C+ is what I would give at the end of the day.
