McDermott has not been able to slow down the Chiefs in any of the playoff games. He's a defensive oriented HC, but his defenses really don't slow down good offenses.

I'm not impressed with their pass rush. They never seem to make Mahomes uncomfortable in the pocket when it matters. Those CB's leave a lot to be desired as well. A stout pass rusher and a solid CB would really improve that defense. Unfortunately, those players don't grow on trees. If they did, then everyone would have some.

I found the below statistic/post on a Bills Forum.

"Dating back to 1972, NFL teams that have scored 4 touchdowns and committed 0 turnovers in a playoff game are 85-6. The Bills' last two playoff losses at Arrowhead are 2 of the 6. Just brutal"

Looks like the offense is doing it's part. Those McDermott defenses aren't holding up on their side of the ball when it counts.

It's Patrick Mahomes, what do you want him to do?

They don't just keep losing to different teams each year and they've been able to beat him in the regular season more.

Maybe it's just not about the Bills not being able to stop Mahomes when it matters the most, but it's that Mahomes is just unstoppable when it matters the most.

Im tired of seeing him and his buddies (and his buddys girlfriend) every fuging time the TV is on.  The machine has shoved the Kelses and Mahomes down our throats so long they make me sick.

 

If I saw them half as much when I wasnt watching them play I'd hate them 90% less

We sacked Mahomes 5 times this season when we played them and we had one of the worst pass rushes in the NFL in 2024. Mahomes was lot more flustered in our matchup than he was in the AFC title game.

Buffalo was down a starting corner and a safety so they weren't at full strength. Still, the 32 points KC put up last night was their highest point total of the season. It seems like every team KC played this year did a better job contain Mahomes than Buffalo did last night.

I actually liked the Brady patriots for the most part as crazy as it sounds they seemed to be a really good team and Brady just brought out the best in everyone.  I use to feel this way about the Mahomes and the chiefs but since the whole kelce swift thing last 2 years its seemed like the nfl has shoved them down everyones throats and every single game of the chiefs I have watched they get so many bad calls go their way.  All it would take is one or two refs to be paid to fudge a few calls towards them and it gets them the wins.  Last night was alot of bad calls all seemingly favoring the chiefs but its been that way all year even when they played us.  And go back the week before 2 roughing the passer calls on mahomes when neither should have been called.  I hate that I feel like I am watching refs determine the outcome of games instead of the best players and teams winning.

This was also the case for the vast majority of Brady's time with the Pats. When you're the face of the league, the calls go your way, no paying of refs required.

your issue is watching advertisements in 2025. of course the 2x reigning champs will be featured in a bunch of ads lol, they sell. same with swift, I don't like her either but they show her for like a grand total of 25 seconds in these games, just ignore it dude
