No one will ever convince me that the NFL helps any franchise when the two most popular franchises haven't seen a SB in 15 years.  In fact, I don't think the Steelers or Cowboys have made a championship game in that amount of time, but I am not sure about that.  

I've never bought into it.

Back when they had their 100th season, they could've had a historic Super Bowl between the Steelers and 49ers (both of whom were undefeated in Super Bowls at the time) but the Steelers lost to the Chargers in the AFC Championship.

I remember thinking, "if you were gonna rig something..."
