Meet the Biggest "Displaced" Fan

A Virginia man who converted his garage into a shrine to the Dallas Cowboys has been named "America's Ultimate Displaced Fan."

Ron Lawrence, of Chesapeake, Va., converted his two-car garage into a Cowboys haven where he can watch the team play every week during the NFL season.

Despite living in Redskins country his whole life, Lawrence has been a Cowboys fan since he was 8 years old.

He submitted a reality TV-style video of him and his daughter that showed Lawrence's love for America's Team and offered a tour of his garage

I think I am bout to puke. It could have been ANYONE other than the cowbitches.....

I PRAY to GOD that the PANTHERS go to the Super Bowl and he has to watch them lift the Lombardi.

At least his sorry ass team is out of the playoff's.

(I will take that just fine :D)

Yeah because living in VA he only gets to see his Cowboys on TV about 12 times per year. I lived in MD and I can tell you there are lots of Cowboy fans in "enemy territory", they're the people who cheer for the local team's biggest rival just to be anti-social. It's just like the Packman always says...

That's what won it for him. The kid. The video.

You should have won on distance alone, but me think he may have outdone you in other areas. Sucks though, man.

That's weak. There are a TON of Cowboys fans in Hampton Roads, VA (the area that makes up Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, etc.) I grew up there and was a Cowbitch fan before the Panthers came along. They just wanted a fan from a "popular" team. You got hosed AK. Sorry man.

Agreed - I remember when you showed your video of you just telling your story. I thought that the winner would be someone who did more of a video production. I totally understand the the ticked offedness (I claim that word as my own) by being beat by a Cowboys fan.

Oh - and that tattoo - putting THAT tattoo on your body when he could have put something more...ummmm, manly...maybe the DTV people were just wanting to show that to the entire country what an idiot he was.

It was because he's a fan of *cough* America's team living in enemy territory. Think the tat helped too. :P

You did a good job. We're proud of ya!

Hell, there are probably as many Cowboys fans in VA as there are Redskins fans anyway.
