beason is all about the money. he held out for over a week when he was a rookie, and he's recently said he expects to be one of the highest paid linebackers in the league when his next deal is done. i foresee exactly what happened with peppers. i think he'd sacrifice the team's talent and depth just to make the most cash he can, and that will ultimately lead to him going somewhere else.

Well seeing how he is if not the best, one of the best LB's in the league he deserves to be paid like one. If Hurney still is our GM in upcoming years i'm sure it will be priority number one that he resigns him to a long term deal. If we don't I am certain when i say he will be paid very highly elsewhere. Beason is the fuging man!!

how about you go outside and stay there. i know it's hurney's job, and if beason asks for too much the team will either drop him or drop a bunch of other players to keep him. thus, they will be doing their jobs. did you even read my post? what are you disagreeing with?

are you even a panthers fan? you'd seriously defend beason if he left to go make more millions somewhere else when he's already making millions, or if we had to let a bunch of quality players go to keep him? pffft, you'd either be lying or aren't a real fan. all any pro bowl player has to do is let his contract run out and then let the bidding begin, but how many times has that happened on our team other than with peppers? plenty are content with getting whatever they can here within reason with the salary cap. those are the people i'm fans of, 'cause i'm a fan of the team and they're team players. once a player leaves over something stupid like being too greedy, i have no respect for them.

Are you stupid? Jon Beason is in my opinion the best MLB in the league.. With that being said does he deserve to be paid like the best LB's in the league? f**k yes... If Hurney lowballs the poo out of him than it is justifiable that he leaves our beloved panthers. Becasue sadly thats what football is... It's a business.
