It looks like he made a pretty clear attempt to lead with his shoulders and the helmet contact was incidental due to momentum and the defender not paying enough attention to know when to protect himself. But you're probably right, it would have been a called penalty.

He looks faster than Jarrett for sure. His run blocking is awesome. The QB sucked but LaFell looked good when the ball was actually on target.

He plays faster, a lot faster then his 40 would indicate he does.
