If y'all can't see how bad the Chargers were tonight, I can't help you.

And yes, he is lucky he plays for the Texans and not the Panthers. Keep "lucky" within context, and I never said anything about a "fluke play."

When they get throttled next week, remember everything you've said.

I mean...you could say the same thing about atlanta last weekend. Didn't stop everybody from getting giddy did it?

You don’t have to believe he is the franchise, but if you don’t think he should be the starter in 2025 you’re just clinging to your pre-draft hatred. Hell a loT of the haters didn’t think he could even get to this point and I know y’all are seething.

It's entirely possible to hope for Bryce to continue to build on his play at the end of this season and not just blindly disparage CJ Stroud because we selected Bryce ahead of him.

It's not that deep man.

Good QB play makes the league as a whole more fun to watch. I hope CJ continues his "pedestrian" 300 total yard performances in the playoffs and is joined by our own "pedestrian" QB play there some day.

I suspect the Texans are done next week but what an accomplishment for a young QB to overcome such a rocky 2nd half of his season to be where he is.

Plus he was ass in the first quarter but anyone who watched the game saw him make plays after that. The end of the first half was real good, and he carried that over...

Edit: Also Stroud and Young are friends and root for each other. If they can do it, why can't some of us? They both seem like good young players. I'm glad Young's play has improved to a point I can imagine a time they might both be in the playoffs, lol.

Meanwhile the other guy won a playoff game already. Still picked the wrong and inferior player no matter what so its inescapable really. Now people are just simply happy he isn't all time bad for the time being. Classic Panther fanbase. But hey yeah he isn't an auto loss at this current moment when starting behind center. Gotta take what you can get around here

You're all too aware but....Panther fanbase you talking to here. That type of consistency in logic isn't welcomed nor has ever been.

I'm glad you pointed this out. Stroud was one of the ones that supported young after his rookie year and panther fans were giddy over that but panthers fans went and took shots at him anyway this season when he struggled.

Funny how that works.

So, who what team was worse? Which losing QB was substantially worse? Which game was close? Which game was not? Out of all of the four QBs who played in those two games, which QB was the best?

False equivalents don't quite do the trick, and are not as logical as you may pretend.

Stroud's gotta be the NFL's most popular player. He's a hit in Houston, but he's No. 1 among Panthers fans.

That's the perfect post, and honestly it's the reason why I started trolling. In my opinion, which is not everyone's opinion to be sure, there is way too much appreciation for Stroud in the Huddle, and still not enough for Bryce, which is simply distasteful considering their play in 2024.

You are making up a scenario in your head.

Again you are creating a narrative that doesn't exist.

    • Wildcard teams have won the Super Bowl several times. 1980 Oakland Raiders (Super Bowl XV) The first wildcard team to win the Super Bowl. They defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10. 1997 Denver Broncos (Super Bowl XXXII) Led by John Elway, the Broncos beat the Green Bay Packers 31-24. 2000 Baltimore Ravens (Super Bowl XXXV) Known for their historic defense, they dominated the New York Giants 34-7. 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers (Super Bowl XL) The Steelers, led by Ben Roethlisberger, beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-10. 2007 New York Giants (Super Bowl XLII) They famously upset the undefeated New England Patriots 17-14. 2010 Green Bay Packers (Super Bowl XLV) Behind Aaron Rodgers, the Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25. 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Super Bowl LV) Led by Tom Brady, they beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 in their home stadium.
    • Ok so maybe the Packers defense can get the TD, the offense looks preseason worthy.
    • The Steelers were basically better across the board offensively Wilson(Total Yards, Passing Yards and Points). But it wasn't better enough to keep winning.  TBH, I think a lot of the overall offensive struggles have been Arthur Smith. He really hasn't been good since he was in Tennessee. He was bad in Atlanta and he has been bad in Pittsburgh. For instance, he has never called an offense that finished in the top 15 in passing yardage.
