It's not that deep man.

No one has "disparaged" CJ. He hasn't looked great this year, especially the second half of the season. Be honest in your analysis.

I haven't seen anyone arguing he's looked like his rookie self this year. But he is showing glimpses of that. Either he takes the next step in his development or he doesn't. It's the same as Bryce Young.
