And it's my first-ever NFL game! If you guys would be so kind as to fill me in on any information a newbie should know, feel free to tell me! I'll try to make it to the Huddle tailgate too!

Section 523, Row 1! :)

Get as loaded as you can before you go into the stadium, beer is expensive inside.

Don't drop the F-bomb too much, and if you do don't punch the security guard, he has bigger and meaner friends and they don't fight fair.

I don't drink, so I should be OK on that front, but I can't promise I won't be. . .uh. . .encouraging the Cardinals :)

Seriously since your seats are upstairs, and you don't know exactly where they are plan on going in at least 45 minutes before kickoff the lines start to back up around 30 minutes before. Take plenty of cash in the lines at the ATM's are long. If you do happen to forget cash stop by the panthers buck kiosk, there usually isn't a line, and vendors give you cash back for the coins.

Generally when the Panthers are on offense stay quiet. You'll be in row one and won't be able to look at the people in front of you for guidance.

On defense stay loud. Don't get up for a break right when a play is about to happen and step in front of people who now won't be able to see the play.

Eat before you go in the game, cuz the food in the stadium is overpriced fast food junk.

I've spent 11 hours standing 10 feet from a concert stage with 10000 people crushing me from behind, with neither food or drink, so hopefully this will be a piece of cake, minus my lungs when the defense is on the field :)

Are there any gate fees or parking fees, etc. I need to be aware of before I get there?

Parking ranges from $50 to free. If you get there early enough you can park on the street for free, but you won't find many spots.

If you don't mind walking a few blocks you can park uptown at 7th street station or Discovery place for 5 bucks, sometimes free you won't know until you leave if they're charging.

The closer in you get the higher the parking is on the surface lots but most range from $15 to $25.

You can park anywhere around the stadium, but I recommended either uptown or somewhere off of south mint.

EDIT: Duh I forgot to mention the Huddle tailgate is located in the lot that borders Church, 3rd and Popular. Best I can remember the parking in the lots around there is $25 for regular season, maybe a bit higher Saturday.

Is 8 AM early enough? I don't mind walking at all, and I want to get a chance to take it all in and see what's going down. Do they let people into the stadium early to take pics, etc?

no

and no one will be there tailgating until like 630 pm

    • His o loaded with swift, dj, Keenan and Rome was inconsistent at best. The d was bad. And the game management was atrocious and lost them games.  He was terrible and made the team worse. I wish they kept him
    • That is my point.  I think teams make a huge mistake when they pay their decent to average QBs top QB money because they feel that they have to match the market or lose their investment--There is no way, for example, that Tua or Prescott or Murray should all be making more than Mahomes--I mean, Dak makes $15m per season more than Mahomes. People say, "Well, when its his turn...." But that is not how it should be--so my point was that Bryce can be doing mediocre to good enough in 2 years, but the way it is going, you have to pay him at the starting QB rate--currently $60m.  So even if you think he will continue to improve, at $60 m, he would eliminate any chance for a ring---so my view is, if he is not elite, you cut him.  So you draft QBs now and see what you can make of them.
    • With two 4ths and three 5ths I’m hoping we can kill it on adding depth. Take a gamble with the two 7ths.  First 3 picks id love to address the defense. I expect Tuttle, Robinson, and Jewell to all be on the 2025 roster but not after that. Be a good time to add depth and let them develop a year.
