if we ever shed fox the last thing i want is another run obsessed coach like cowher would be. can we fast forward to the 21st century and be a passing offense please? not only is running all the time predictable, it's boring to watch if they're only getting 1 or 2 yards.

People who actually have access to team ownership would tell you there's zero chance of them hiring Cowher, even if Fox is out next year. It's just not happening. People really need to get over it.

As to the QB, trhere's no veteran on the roster, nor is there likely to be. The only way they could add one is by clearing a roster spot. The team is not carrying four quarterbacks.

cowher or gruden will not coach here, JR if you haven't paid attention is trying to implement a system that will be around as long as he is the owner.draft and develop players and sign middle market fa's to supplement them. if fox is gone i see us hiring a asst. coach who buys into our system, wouldn't surprise me if davidson or meeks get strong consideration
