Do you believe in the Madden Curse? There is decent supporting evidence from each version. Favre & the Jets choke to miss out on the playoffs, Mangini gets fired, he leads the league in interceptions.

Does it exist? If your favorite team's star player was going to be on the cover, would you care about it at all? Or is it just a silly notion. I wouldn't want them to put Brian Urlacher or DeAngelo Williams on it. I would want them to pass on my favorite teams players.

I don't think Williams will get it, Peterson is the only back they would put on the cover in my opinion, the only other option is Turner.

I don't know about the Madden cover curse, but I'm reminded of the Sports Illustrated cover curse. Remember we were SI's preseason Superbowl pick in '06?
