News flash ...Pat White blows and last time I checked Edwards weighed in at 180.. trading up for this guy was unwarranted and irresponsible. What does he really bring?

I'm surprised there isn't more outrage about this pick. They traded next year's 2nd to draft a guy they could have gotten in the 6th round?

Armanti could be a fine talent.

Not to mention the Panthers will get a 3rd Round Compensation Pick next year for losing Peppers so we have a 1st and 2 3rds next year.

I like the pick, and next years draft isn't as deep as this years.

At first I didn't like the pick... But the more i read about him and think about it, the more i like it.. Why not have a specialist guy that has the potential to contribute like Brad Smith from the Jets. I'm sure you all saw what he did in the playoffs this past season. From what I saw in the presser it seemed he also had a good head on his shoulders. Wants to contribute in any way possible and I like that.

If they didnt trade a pick to get him I wouldnt have problem. Also he isnt better than White. White was alot better than him in college NFL might be different but White was a project last year. This year White will show progress.

I have seen both of them play and I think Edwards is better. Still I didn't want us to pick up White and would not have picked Edwards either. Given this is who we have now, we will have to see if he gets a package to run this year. At least he is willing to be a receiver, something White can't or won't do.

White knows he isnt a receiver. This is White's make or break year. If he doesnt progress as a QB in Miami he will be cut. Edwards is the better athlete I will give him that White is lanky and when he runs he looks slow. Looking back it was a good thing we didnt take White. But I still dont like that we traded to Edwards seemed like a reach but if he pans out Hurney will look like a genius.

bc whining about every questionable move the Panthers make gets old. So some of us take the opposite route.
