Final look at the composite NFC South Draft

I think Atlanta (we) drafted for depth and rotation mostly. Weatherspoon is the only first day starter.

Johnson and Hawley (Who both got praise from Schefter and Mayock) are depth and possible replacements for our pending FA lineman Dahl, Clabo and Blalock.

Peters will be a rotational guy, we rotate the hell out of our lineman and he'll be perfect for that.

Schillinger is a special teams maven with a high motor and good attitude.

Meier is a smart WR with great hands who may be able to compete for the third or 4th spot out of the gates.

And Franks, well, I'm just excited about him, as is the Falcons brass. Guy was projected in the 3rd, we got him in the fifth. A CB that comes out of a pass happy conference and is on a big time program. He also has stellar return abilities.

Our picks weren't flashy, but they are all hard working, smart, tough players. And will play their hearts out in the NFL.

Not to be an Ass or anything, but your kinda high on yourself aren't you. You laughed big fvckin deal everyone laughs, and then you go on to thanking other people in making you laugh. Dude your not GOD and you live for the next topic to throw on this forum. Your just another fan enjoy everyones output and take it what its worth your no better than them. Again not trying to be an ass, just being considerate and understanding on other fans opinions.

you know instead of going the route you did, you mind want to think a little bit harder, before you criticize someone for being full of themselves. I got a laugh at the arguments, i saw a few jabs taken, jokes, and i thought they were funny. i dont even have a clue what you were thinking about. next time maybe you could have asked what i found funny, BEFORE you insulted me.

    • I tend to look at all of these guys and wonder how committed they are to doing special teams? It's a big deal when you're fighting for roster spots. And we need massive refreshes to all phases of the special teams game. And the idea that four or five of these players could see rotational use outside of special teams would be a win. This team has accumulated quite a bit of dead wood over the last five years and its time to take an axe to some of it. These new fellows have a shot to benefit from that if they can really push. That being said, wow that receivers room is crowded right now. I'm not sure if I was a vet player with more than 2 years experience other than Adam Thielen if I'd be too sure of my future here. Tet is guaranteed a spot, Coker earned his for sure and they aren't done with XL developing yet. That's only two to three spots left for the entire room. It's going to be very competitive and better for Bryce's future, too. Safety and linebacker are the opportunity spots here this season. There's room for the right guy and we may see a starter eventually from one of these UDFAs, either by merit or injury.
    • Aho and Jarvis just gripping it too tight right now. Relax, play their 200 ft game and the shots will start to find the net. Freddie has been excellent and welcome back Mista Svechnikov. Burns.....well, thank goodness for Slavin.
    • Supposedly he plans on staying in college for all 4 years.
