Undrafted rookie agreements trickling in

The Panthers have already begun working to sign their undrafted class. They could sign as many as 19, though they might not go that far.

Based on reports from agents and colleges and other sources, here's a look at the players they have agreed to deal with thus far:

WR Oliver Young (South Carolina State), FB Rashawn Jackson (Virginia) OL Ray Hisatake (Hawaii), Kurtis Gregory (Missouri) and Mark Ortmann (Michigan), DT Andre Neblett (Temple), S Matt O’Hanlon (Nebraska) and P Blake Hauden (Minnesota).

Stay tuned. We'll update as needed over the next few hours/days.

theres also another way to put Rashawn as our #2 FB and also keep Sutton and Goodson. Just look at CB. I think Wilson, McClain, and Stanford will be fighting for the #4 and #5 CB spots. Keeping 6 is just too many (Witherspoon is strictly RS). Also, I see that Pugh is listed as 200 which is 10 lbs more than other sites I saw him as. He could be our backup SS instead of Francisco. Or put him as backup FS and Martin as #4 CB (which i would not like). Looking forward to preseason with all of this competition.

Can't verify this just yet...but one of my homegirls just told me Tre Young, WR from South Carolina State University, is coming here. I know him personally and he was pretty much...THE WR at school.

The more Im reading about Pugh, he doesnt sound like a SS and I think possibly Martin will be back at CB this season =\
