Steve Smith Authenticity Form?

I was wondering if anyone on here knew.....

I met Steve Smith back in October at Circuit City at Concord Mills, I got him to sign a football and my authentic jersey. I am getting my authentic jersey framed and I was wondering if anyone knew where and if I could get one of those blue steve smith authenticity papers and the hologram? Any help would be much appreciated.

That is something HE does. Its his own authentication. I think you would have a hard time getting one unless you had proof (pictures and such)

i think you can send stuf to "global authenications and pay to have it digitaly proved. do it if its worth the money- they will give you a COA

I'm betting you won't get anything without him authorizing that you get something. And based on how he feels about people reselling stuff, I don't see that happening...even if you only want it for your own personal use. If you only want to frame it for your enjoyment, it shouldn't matter whether you have any papers. You saw him sign it and and that's all that matters.

I have a crapload of signed stuff, and none of it authenticated in any way whatsover because it's all for my own personal enjoyment and won't be sold. Some are worthwhile ("Mr. T", "Billie Jean King", "Chris Martin"), but most not ("Ken from Survivor season 2", "the drummer from 30 Seconds to Mars") In an ideal situation, for casually obtained fan items, as opposed to officially provided items that have a COI already, you would have needed to have a photo taken at the moment of the item being signed -- it works best if the item is uniquely identifiable. A COI generated after the fact is worthless.

Like if you had an orange/green 1982 Nerf Football signed.... not a lot of those lying around... and a photo of SS as he is signing it. But a generic helmet? Could be from anywhere/anyone.

IMO, I wouldn't worry about getting any documentation of your items. If I saw him sign them, and I KNEW he signed them, that would be good enough for me. I got him to sign a Panthers yearbook once during a Caravan tour stop. I saw him do it, so I'm fine with it.
