Moore will start this year, almost regardless of how well Clausen does. Fox likes his vets. I don't really have a preference though as long as the team is winning.

in one corner we have clausen with a huge chip on his shoulder,in the other corner we have moore who views this as his job to lose, if nothing else it should make for a fun camp and give us a good reason to watch 2nd half of preseason games.

Moore should be the starter hands down, he's been overlooked for a few years now and everytime he's had the oppurtunity to prove himself he's shined. Let him be the leader if he can be the same QB he was the last half of last season then Clausen/Pike should ride the bench til their time comes (whether its with another team or not) Clausen has a big head and I hope that since he fell soo far in the draft that his ego lowered a bit. Moore has proven himself idky the fans and FO doesn't stand behind him.

When Moore plays when it really counts, and wins, then I will say that he "has proven himself". Even to this day I will only concede that he has given us just enough appetizers to tantalize our senses, but that small, modest sampling is not enough to say that he is ready to prepare us a full course meal.

As for the FO, it has been rumored that Moore doesn't show enough seriousness or the work ethic that the field general is supposed to have. Being that they are the professionals, I just have to trust their judgement.
