definitely missed on that one.. oh well. must be nothing but special teams players now. how did we not address OL and DL? just tears my brain apart. we got one DL who apparently sucked last year because of injuries from the previous year. although we did pick up a LB that could play with his hand in the dirt, but i doubt we use him more at DE than LB, at most, he's a 3rd down edge rusher. i'm just confused. i pretty much entered "confused" mode after the Armantti pick.

Cause a late round OL always pans out.

There is a thing called Free Agency.

The Patriots continue to add athletic players to their secondary with the selection of Jordan Pugh. Though New England has a roster full of young talent at the position, Pugh is another competitive player to throw into the mix. He will have to earn a spot as a backup/special teams standout.

About Edwards, I'll just throw this out there: He's a better version of The Golden Calf of Bristol who finally puts some muscle behind those ridiculous "mildcat" plays that Davidson likes to run. He's not going to stop running them, so its nice to have a talented player who makes those plays less useless. Overpriced? Maybe. Worst draft move ever? Nope, not even the worst move a team has made in THIS draft.

And as we take another player in the secondary, I'm just gonna have to trust the FO or start looking forward to 2011...er.....2012.

I'm really excited to see what they do with him honestly. The versatility in some of the players we drafted this year makes me think they're going to start getting more creative with their schemes which I think is a great thing. Maybe we overpaid for him (I was shocked when we did) but we'll have to wait and see. If he can make our wildcat a legitimate threat he will be worth what we paid for him.

Some interior depth would be nice.

Honestly I want DLine projects at this point.

Other than Kalil not being signed past this year, I think the way the season ended last year showed we had at least decent depth.

I think we'll be okay with what we have, maybe an undrafted guy or two.

Pretty sure if Clausen takes Moores job he won't want to stay around knowing that other teams know how good he is, so the Pike pick was probably for that. Moore could be traded whether we like it or not.

it's got nothing to do with whether or not Moore will want to stick around if Clausen takes his job. it's got something to do with the FO, Hurney and Fox, and if they want to keep Moore or not. yeah, he's got the option to not sign his contract should the Panthers offer him one, but the Panthers also have the option of a Franchise Tag... and unless Pike proves that he can be a valuable backup, then i doubt the Panthers FO let's Moore just walk out the door. this has turned into a league where you have to have two of everything it almost seems.

I trust you on backup O-Line issues more than anyone on here, but after the 5 starters we only have Schwartz and Bernadeau/Robinson who's proven anything for us right?

Are the rest any better than scrubs?

Bernadeau's likely a starter now. Schwartz looked good when he played. Rob Petitti has been a starter before.

Them plus some guys they liked last year (Garry Williams) and Magazu coaching makes me feel we'll be fine.

I forget his name but the OL from Penn State that was a UDFA.
