Edwards is a WR. We thought maybe they'd go 2QB roster but clearly pike is no. 3 so Cantwell is out the door as soon as his arm isn't needed in camp anymore.

No I was saying the defensive picks were fine. It's just that Edwards was predominately a qb and he is listed as such on Nfl.com. We traded next yr's second for Edwards and he could have been had later on. And I believe we could have used some more Dline help more than that last Pike pick unless Cantwell is out of the door.

Me thinks the DT position is fine right now. It is deep and I would rather have a rotation of good DT than one great DT and some scrubs. Adding another DT right now woudnt change the rotation at all.

DE, LB, CB and S are all solid, we got two return man/WR in the draft and the O is loaded. So I don't really see a problem on the team now.

definitely missed on that one.. oh well. must be nothing but special teams players now. how did we not address OL and DL? just tears my brain apart. we got one DL who apparently sucked last year because of injuries from the previous year. although we did pick up a LB that could play with his hand in the dirt, but i doubt we use him more at DE than LB, at most, he's a 3rd down edge rusher. i'm just confused. i pretty much entered "confused" mode after the Armantti pick.

I don't disagree with you, I'm just gonna trust the FO on this one. Agree with you about edwards though.

About Edwards, I'll just throw this out there: He's a better version of The Golden Calf of Bristol who finally puts some muscle behind those ridiculous "mildcat" plays that Davidson likes to run. He's not going to stop running them, so its nice to have a talented player who makes those plays less useless. Overpriced? Maybe. Worst draft move ever? Nope, not even the worst move a team has made in THIS draft.

And as we take another player in the secondary, I'm just gonna have to trust the FO or start looking forward to 2011...er.....2012.

I guess we needed that Db probably for ST. I guess we pick up O and Dline depth off the street or via trade, but we have no more draft picks to trade away.

I think we got two of the fastest and quickest DBs in the whole draft. We do need a dime corner.

and just for the record... cantwell is out the door, not moore. i hope we're all in agreement here, because cantwell straight up sucked balls last preseason and he doesn't deserve to wear a panthers uniform. he's basically a young jake delhomme. of course, i personally don't think pike is that big of an upgrade from cantwell, but he is an upgrade, nonetheless. and i'm almost positive that moore will be the starter going into the season, whether or not clausen can take that job from him, obviously, has yet to be seen.

Some interior depth would be nice.
