So we essential Drafted 3 qb's 2 wr's 1 De 1Db and 1Lb. Whoever is picking these last 3 rounds needs their head blown off. Stupid ass picks the last day of the draft except for the defensive picks.

2 Qbs, 3 WR, 1 LB, 1 DE, 1 CB

I'm not entirely against the Pike pick (a QB chart of Moore, Clausen, and Pike doesn't exactly make my eyes bleed), and picking up guys in the second FA period to fill out the depth charts isn't the worst idea considering the lack of vets on either side of the ball. Still wouldn't have minded seeing a little attention given to the lines this far into the draft besides a 3-4 OLB and a project DE. Maybe I'm missing something about Hardy...

The only thing that Tony Pike solidifies is that Armanti Edwards was not drafted as a quaterback.

I don't disagree with you, I'm just gonna trust the FO on this one. Agree with you about edwards though.

we have moore and put a high tender on him, then draft 2 qbs. thats whats messed up. now he isnt gona cost much for 1 year, but damn unless you absolutely do not want moore here next year i dont get it. there are high upside guys at other positions of need when we took the high upside pike. arg. like the player, but not to us with the roster as it stands. we dont need a 3rd qb on the roster: we have armanti as the emergancy qb anyway so we didnt need to carry 3 qbs.

No I was saying the defensive picks were fine. It's just that Edwards was predominately a qb and he is listed as such on Nfl.com. We traded next yr's second for Edwards and he could have been had later on. And I believe we could have used some more Dline help more than that last Pike pick unless Cantwell is out of the door.

I'm guessing that the FO knows a little bit more about prospects, team needs, and value than you or I do. Just a hunch...

Clausen is the franchise QB. As long as he has a year to mature and get comfortable under Moore I don't think they care if Moore is here next year. Clausen in their eyes is the future. Pike will be his backup.

If that is the plan then it was a smart move.

They do know more than us. But I fell that with the Edwards pick he could be an Emergency 3rd Qb and we could have used that Pike pick on a Dline player but thats just my opinion and its not my team.

Remeber, we had injuries to our Starter (Jake) and primary backup (McCown) last season. The FO is also preparing for something like that again.
