I think Jimmy G and Marcus actually would be good fits.  Think they both really hit that true vet checkmark with some real NFL knowledge.

We are talking about a backup quarterback. Jameis is a HOF vibes guy. If bryce gets hurt were going to suck anyway.

Zach Wilson would be an interesting free agent. Lots of tools and could learn behind Young.

Wilson feels like a potential reclamation project for Canales, with best case scenario ending up in us getting draft picks for him either through trade or comp picks if he signs a decent contract elsewhere.

The rest of the guys listed are all experienced vets with varying degrees of starting experience and success that I would still feel comfortable spot starting for a game or two in the event Bryce goes down.
