Weather for Game (cold, rainy, windy)

Here's a better pic for you guys. This is for 7pm Saturday.

Oof, dude, resize that image so it fits in the page!

And check the 3-hourly stuff (below), the NAM model has a nice bullseye between 7 pm and 10 pm (0.32" to be exact, with another 0.09" before 7 pm), so it's definitely slower with that front than the models have been by at least a few hours ... also they are showing more rain than before, at one point the models were showing the Piedmont getting totally ripped off.

Tsk, tsk ... that 84-hour ECMWF image is not for public dissemintation! So, tell me where you found it, just between you and me so the Euro model police don't find out where we're getting it from.

Looks like the U.S. models are a little faster, but that, of course, is their bias.

It's either going to be breezy and raining or or windy and turning colder, either way, the field is going to be wet. The Cards will not appreciate the weather no matter what happens. Advantage, Carolina.

My original thought on this was windy and 45-50 for temps with the rain out, but if that front is slower to move through we'll be more like 55 at kickoff and in the rain.

payed for through my employer. i replaced it however, didn't think anyone here would notice/care;)

Local weather thinks the rain will stop just before the game starts. Nice & mushy field. Of course, they're only correct on the actual day of the forecast and even then they miss it.

Rain would be fine with me. Snow would be even better, but that's dreaming.

I hate to here that. That's gonna keep the PSL "not so much a Panthers fan unless we're winning" fans away, and we need all the noise we can get.

It may keep a few of those "wanna be, wouldn't put up the money to get a team, jump on the bandwagon at playoff time" fans away too.

For folks in the Charlotte area WBT 1110 (the flagship radio station for the Panthers) they have "Doctor" Joe Sobell, doing the weather in the morning. He is NEVER on target. I think he is syndicated out of New York and they cut to him in NY during the morning news and he just parrots the NWS forecast from some where in Manhattan. Anyway he is saying rain.....which means we should have pretty good weather during the game.;)
