Bryce Young's top plays of the 2024 season

Even in the bad games he was making a great play now and then. He just couldn't get in a rhythm sometimes and penalties came at crucial times stalling drives or killing big plays. Of course the defense was always able to maintain their ability to give up their usual 30 plus points. If we got behind by 1 touchdown the offense couldn't overcome it early on. It was just a mess.

Thanks for posting, I tried to post the video but was blocked due to nfl rights. I watched the whole video and there were some trends I noticed.
-XL body catches almost everything, he needs to work on catching with his hands and being more aggressive, that’s why a lot of balls were knocked out or deflected.
-Coker is night and day different compared to XL, the dude catches with his hands and away from his body. I think he can be our Muhsin Muhammed possession receiver in the future.
-Theilan has made miracle catches after miracle catches in clutch moments. We need to start finding his replacement in the next year or so.
-sanders has potential but needs to be more involved in the scheme and play calling. He can disappear for stretches.
-I think a pass catching RB would really open up the offense and make it more dangerous. We should try to find a CMC-lite type rb.

If the right pieces are in place I think this unit can be top 10.

Crazy to me how folks still don't understand how a great defense can make a QB's life easier.

Between Bryce and the schemes, those were some really good plays. He faced pressure and showed he could handle it and as the season went on, Canales opened the playbook up more and more and it showed. Looking forward to next season. Very happy for Bryce the person as well as the player.

My takeaways:

Bryce is showing arm talent he rarely showed year one. It's as if he was hiding an arm injury. Gaining confidence and not playing tentatively seems to have improved his velocity and accuracy.

David Moore is quality depth.

With a little work, Legette and Sanders are going to be studs.

For someone who was drafted for blocking ability, Tremble is gradually turning into a decent receiving TE.

We need a defense. Bad.

Legette body catching is really worrisome to me. Never uses hands, I think that one catch this week was the only one I remember.

Coker is amazing. Could replace Thielen long term.

All for a late round rookie RB, CUT SANDERS.

JT Sanders on the other hand has me very excited.

We need defense but a true #1 would do wonders for Bryce and XL won't be that guy as soon as next year if at all. Tee, Tet, GW, one of those would be exciting.

So happy for Bryce.

One thing I want Bryce to work on in the offseason is get a more consistent tight spiral on his throws

Really? That's the thing? Peyton Manning threw ducks his whole career. As long as it's complete, I could care less if it spins end over end.

I think folks should watch how often it's not a tight spiral. It's rare that it isn't a tight spiral anymore. Does it even affect the completions at all? No. It's just something to complain about like his height. Seems that myth is busted as well. The only thing that matters is that he maintains this level of play and the team improves around him.
