Or they see mike jack as a bridge CB for a lack of better words. We need depth at the position as well, regardless of if we keep mike.

Just a hunch/guess, but I liked what I saw from Bartholomew and Evans (CBs from the PS) at the end of the season...limited action, but they held their own.  Probably nothing, but I wonder.
