this is what i have noticed about myself this evening. i am having to decide between he QB that i like and the one who might be the franchise QB we have all been dreaming of having one day. i am moving towards the idea that the best QB should have the job regardless of how much i like him.

Hmmmm didnt they say the same thing about Pat White last year? Just because you are a great athlete doesnt mean you can transition to any position you've never even played before. Let me know when you're ready to play again.

I'll be honest. My instinct when they said Clausen was to punch my TV. One, because I wanted Tate; and two, because I DO like Moore. But within ten minutes I had come to grips with the fact that Clausen will LIKELY be our franchise QB and Moore will not. And now I'm psyched for next season and for future seasons down the road.

The Bills are really good at scouting QBs and other players in general, obviously given their success at the position in recent years. In fact, their overall success in recent years really shows that we should model our franchise to show the sound decision making that they do when it comes to personnel evaluation. The Browns and Raiders are also good examples to look towards, after all they had to foresight to spend the #1 overall pick on Tim Couch and Jamarcus Russell respectively.

Clausen a Franchise QB? He had enough red flags to drop to the middle of the second round. If we had passed on him, 3/4 of the people who love the pick would be ragging on him and making bad Brady Quinn jokes.
