Prediction: Matt Moore will be traded

This Moore trade talk is silly. Every QB is just one bad blitz pick-up away from being done for the season. Drafting Clausen gives the Panthers a decent insurance policy. Nothing would suck worse than go deep into the season with a winning record only to have your starter go down without a back-up that can win in the NFL.

QB's that can actually win in the NFL are few and far between. Having one who can and then having a back-up who can push him to get better and provide the team some stability in case of injury.....I mean who would complain about that situation?

Barring injury, Matt Moore will be just fine. He's already beat out a savvy vet with Super Bowl experience in Jake Delhomme. He may teach a rookie a thing or two.

- Trick Moore into signing his tender by promising him the world

- Draft a young qb high like Clausen or The Golden Calf of Bristol

- Sign a vet like Bulger and trade Moore, the order here doesn't matter

Lol, if Moore was traded before the season, the Panthers would be in a worse position than they were in before the draft.

What I can bet on is that one of this guys is definitely going to be gone in 2-3 years. No way Clausen sits and stays content as a backup for too long. It could be Moore as early as next year, I'd say (sadly).
