I'm shocked. None-Euro white guys are such a minority in the NBA, this becomes a pretty good question. Not counting Steve Nash, of course.

These are career stats. Actually this season 'the great white hype' David Lee averaged 20ppg and made the all star team.

At this rate they'll be wearing short shorts and making mid range jumpers again.

Also I don't consider this celebrating mediocrity. There are plenty of foreign players and black collegiate players who were surpassed by these players for spots in the NBA. Being in the NBA is a huge accomplishment.

Do note I have the utmost respect for foreign players (even though they play soft and flop all the time. actually i do not respect Boris Diaw) and black players. I just wanted to look outside of those players (who tend to makeup the best in the game) at a lesser group of players who represent who most of us are (white americans from the USA).

Feel free to make suggestions. JJ Redick? Jason Kapono? Kyle Korver? Share your thoughts.

Sylvianlight I remember Real Sports on HBO did a story on this a few years back and interviewed a few of the players about their experiences as NBA players. It was an interesting perspective to hear.
