If I'm not mistaken it's still mostly made up of the group that Fitterer assembled post Hurney in 2021.

There's a couple little pussies on here that constantly bitch because he is Christian that will tell you they don't approve but those opinions are from pussies and in my own little mind pussies don't deserve a voice or opinion anyhow. Me being of no faith at all and hoping not as big a pussy as those other two wimps so coming from a purely unbiased place..... I would give Canales a 6-7 on a 1-10 scale. He needs to work on a few things such as I believe hire a coordinator that he can trust to call plays for him so he just leads and some other items. I do have confidence in him that he can turn out to be a good coach. He isn't as fuging dumb as Matt Rhule or throw others under the bus as Matt Rhule likes to do so he does have my respect there. He has some sort of emotions and doesn't look like a corpse out there as Reich did so there's that too but I guess my standards are very low these days. The mother fuger can go to church all he wants or not, I don't really give a damn as long as he steadily improves this team. He has partially improved Bryce to where I believe he deserves another year to see if he can continue to grow and I didn't think anyone could help Bryce so that's a positive too I guess. He has hope which I guess is what im getting at.

Might've been Shaq but he said he wasn't exactly buying Canales at the start - probably because of dealing with Rhule - but he's now convinced he's being genuine with his approach. At the least, Canales has played a big part of turning a lifeless team into a scrappy enjoyable squad who are really trying on the field. I still have doubts about him being a playcaller, and I'm unsure about the decision to keep Evero. 

Call me cautiously optimistic.

I think he's the right guy. Just what his full potential is remains an unknown same as Bryce Young. I hope to see big strides next season and early when the games really matter. That's the only measuring stick that matters.

Some of you who are not sold on Canales are insane. His main purpose was to turn around Bryce Young’s career and he did that. Of all of the teams in the top 10 of the NFL draft, we were the team that was consistently showing the most fight week in and week out. Our players never quit on the season. The offense which he is responsible for took a huge step forward compared to last year, despite the lack of skill talent  that we have. It was our defense that was a mess. That’s one of my critiques on Canales. He should’ve gotten rid of Evero and hired his own DC that shares the same vision. But as a whole, I can’t see how people are not pleased with what Canales did with this team. I’d give him an 9/10

Some unreasonable expectations some of yall seem to have had for Year One. This franchise was in a constant state of sucking. It was the worst stretch in franchise history. 
 

The culture has improved tremendously and more than doubled the win total. This is while having a defensive unit that was historically terrible. He still had these random practice squad players buying in and competing despite a lack of experience and talent.

We got lucky.

7/10. Canales was brought in to do one thing and one thing only, fix Bryce Young and so far he has shown that he can get Young to perform better. He is an offensive mind and his schemes do work. He just needs to be a more complete HC and also manage the defensive side of the ball too. I feel like he just let Evero do whatever he wants with play calling and weekly game plans. 

If Evero does leave for another job, I think he needs a former HC (ex. Saleh) to be a defensive coordinator. Andy Reid and Spagnulo has made it work in KC.

Getting any level of competition and cohesion out of this roster is a job well done.

As a rookie head coach, I think he exceeded expectations.  We looked competitive in almost all our games.  I don't think he's hit his ceiling.  7 of 10 for this year.
