Raymond Felton

Nelson's first game, was insane, and maybe a fluke, but then the other times he comes out and owns Felton, wow. Howard didn't beat us man, Nelson and the other guys did, the 3 pointer owned us.

Duh.

Anyone who knew anything about basketball was saying that before the series began, yet Brown came right out and tried to double Howard and set the tone for this butt-kicking.

I rest my case.

CP3 sitting at the end of the cats bench last night, hmmmmm.....

I would give my left nut..... so would Jordan. Jordan loves the guy, plus the Hornets have a solid pg (Collison). I wouldn't rule out a trade but is going to cost two arms and two legs.

I wouldn't mind if that arm or leg was Diaw. Honestly, Wallace is the only guy I'd love to keep here, everyone else I think we could trade.

The Bobs should go ahead and let Felton go and look in a different direction this offseason. His man has beat him more than any one else during this series.

Felton has heart, humility, and determination- those are all good factors, but teams (and sport writers... Bonnell) tend to overrate players with those factors. Felton is one such example. He is basically the Jake Delhomme of the Bobcats.

Time to move on. Too bad the Bobs don't have any draft picks this year, but they should be looking to see whether DJ can be that guy at the point next year.

No need to give up your left nut- the rights to Sean May and Raymond Felton should be enough :(

I'm not trying to bash Ray. He's a great guy. He wants to be here. He's sort of a hometown guy and he embraces that, can say that for many other athletes who have had similar backgrounds... *cough* Pep...

But, ask Jake Delhomme, being a good guy only gets you so far.

Ray isn't a horrible player, he just looks that way against the Orlando Magic. He's an above average player but not much more. I really thought with his pedigree that he would explode on this stage, WRONG. Nelson is all in his head... I know from experience. Look at his body language. My mentor in basketball would always say "attack." When a guy keeps coming at you, you got to go into attack mode, bring it back to them... Ray has basically curled up and deferred to whoever else would take the ball from him unless he had an open jumper (til late in the 4th on Saturday, and then it didn't matter). The worse thing you can do against a guy like Nelson is step back and take jumpers, you've conceded defeat.

Felton ought to be playing dirty as sh*t. He's getting paid for this. Send a message... Hip check that mf'er when he drives to the rim - give him a forearm shiver. Barnes and Jack are boys, and even they have gotten into a shoving match this series. He's just fell back and accepted that he isn't as good as Nelson... Thus, we do too.

I never had any complaints about Felton's defense before. I thought he has always had pretty good footwork and quickness, and at the least that helps you stay in front of your man. Not now. Nelson is killing him. Felton looks like a 3rd grader on his first rec. league team everytime the pick comes. He looks like he's never seen it before. I've never seen it defended so poorly by a guard and I'm not exaggerating, it's pathetic.

He doesn't fight through it at all... Even Chuck, Kenny and CWebb were talking about it last night... They were specifically talking about The Suns and Nash, but the principle behind it was, CWebb said if the PG didn't fight through the pick it was his fault. Well, it's Ray's fault. He waits for the pick and watches it happen.

I wouldn't be against him coming back at a lower salary, but I'm with Rico, I'd prefer Blake or Barea over Felton right now. I think DJ can be our starter but he isn't a UNC guy so LB would rather stick with Ray. We've got to upgrade at PG or we will have another fringe-playoff team next year with great defense and no offense.

Felton -6 for last night's game. DJ was a -0- in the game.

Time to go ahead and show Felton the door. That is what DJ was brought in for.

Augustine is still WORSE overall than Felton is.

Augustine played more during the series with TYRUS THOMAS which is why his unit looks better than Felton's did, because all of the starters stunk it up.

Thomas was the only one who had a good series.
